Get ready to feel the support of your neighbors from around the world . This is so great ! My family has been going to this butcher shop for decades when it was Moe and his mom Mary. Great story Jen!. Beautiful story. Would love to stop next time I am in NYC.. I’m very fortunate to have had steaks from Moe when I dated my ex (who grew up around the corner from the shop). They were perfectly marbled and absolutely delicious. I remember seeing Moe passing on NBC Nightly News and hoping that the shop would survive. What a fantastic piece – please visit Albanese Meats if you can!. Sobbing. I lost my grandfather last year too. . Awww!! I used to live on the street where your and Great lived. Or where the Butcher shop was. I have fond memories of them and shopped their a lot. Your Great always sat outside the shop and we chat. Google Maps shows her and her grandfather sitting out front. What a wonderful relationship. I’m sure he’s still watching..
