Henry is a NY gem. I met him in 2019. He’s as warm and genuine as all his FB and accolades claim. The city would be so greatly diminished without him!. What a truly kind soul Henry is. There are very few people left in this world that would worry about the feelings of a customer that came back years later to find his store gone. As someone who wholeheartedly loves their customers and what they do, this brought tears to my eyes a bit. Especially since I also work for a small family owned shop. I can really feel his pain of what if you can’t say goodbye to your customers or they come looking for you and you’re no longer there. Keep hanging in there, Henry!. These small business where the heart and soul of N.Y. when I was growing up there. Dealing with individuals and families. They are a dying breed now unfortunately. Have been for decades as big business buy out the properties or keep paying more rent than small business can afford.
