It is unbearably hard to lose your Mom. She’s the single person on earth who has loved you every second of your existence. No one loves you like your Mama loves you!. Carol. My faith has waivered, I am afraid that I won’t do enough before my time is through.. I had someone like that in my life. Sat me down for tea just when I needed it. She wasn’t a nun. She was an acquaintance who worked at the same company where I worked. We bumped into each other on the street one day and when she asked how I was doing I told her the truth. She took an hour out of her life and listened and supported me, and even suggested somewhere I could go for more support and connection. I have never forgotten her act of mercy. It made all the difference.

You are so BRAVE. I’m glad you asked for a blessing.. Eternal love to you and your mama, life is hard, living even harder, but you have persisted and your mama is proudly looking down from heaven at her baby persevering.. I love these stories with “coincidences” that are nothing more or nothing less than the universe and our beloved ones up in heaven answering our prayers. There’s no doubt in my mind that your mother helped you find that particular nun. What a blessing!. Man, faith the way faith is supposed to be. So beautiful.. My mom is currently fighting cancer. I’m so scared for the day when she’s not here. Your mom knew you needed help, and she sent someone to you for comfort. You’re a strong person, and beautiful, and competent, and brave. I wish for nothing but good things for you . This weekend my mom will have been gone for 7 years, and I felt every word of this in my bones. We ARE orphans—but I, like you and your nun, have met people along the way that make being an orphan just a little more bearable. I lost my mom to cancer when I was 16 and my dad to cancer when I was 37. Faith always keeps me going. I can’t wait to see them in heaven.
