David Chris Towe of course you have said it right. David Chris Towe The vaccines have gone fairly round, have you not gotten yours?. Luicita Caroline Japan is sorely behind. My 90 year old mother in law has yet to get hers.. David Chris Towe Are you serious? You should contact someone. I had my second vaccine a couple of weeks back. Have you been vaccinated?. Live here and can’t agree more Indigenous native american flag We had a very different pandemic than much of the country and suffered so much loss. But it built a stronger camaraderie amongst neighbors than we had before. (I even like my salty Super more.). YES! Here 21 years and I stayed in my little apartment in Inwood throughout the pandemic. It was scary and heartbreaking. But the experience only deepened my love for and attachment to the city. It may be a city of 8 million people, but we are a very close community. We cared for and supported each other. We suffered the worse of it together. And we’ll rebuild together.

I love it! Indigenous native american flag I’m just going to quibble with one thing though – Houston is actually the most diverse city in the United States and has been for some years. Yes, we surpassed New York in diversity We have precious little to be proud of in Texas so I’ma be proud of that . Honestly, for those of us who didn’t leave, we have been hanging New York strong the whole time! We have been enjoying and supporting our local bars, restaurants, and bakeries for over a year and so proud of the way we have held each other up. I hope we get to read more about our successes!. YES!! NYers have a fight in them, a fire that can never be extinguished. “If you can make it here, you can make it ANYWHERE!!” We pulled out of the rubble of 911 and will come out of COVID too.

I love New York!!! You can travel thousands of miles around the globe and still won’t find a place like it.. In general, I believe that pessimists will remain pessimistic and optimists will remain optimistic. It’s a choice. I am (and will always be) an eternal optimist. Welcome back, NEW YORK CITY!!!. I’m so happy that there are cities around the world starting to open up again and are finding a new normal.
Here in Victoria Australia we are almost one week in our 4th lockdown with an announcement later today to extend the lockdown. We were almost back to normal.. I was there the other week and this post confirms the electric feeling I experienced!! So joyful for all New Yorkers and can’t believe I got to share a moment of it with you all!!. Good for you New Yorkers, cos in many other parts of the world we are still wading in doom, misery and death.
