I’m a Nurse in NYC & durning the lockdown of the pandemic the MTA bus drivers I had were my heroes! I often was the only person traveling on the M4 to and from the hospital to work & without these MTA workers I wouldn’t have been able to get to work to look after the covid patients. I always appreciated the smile and small chat when I hopped on the bus home after some of the toughest shifts I’ve ever had and seeing so much death. They definitely were the frontline heroes for me!. I’m a total introvert but it does warm my grizzly heart when people are kind and welcoming ♡. Ugh this hit hard to home for me. Not because I’m a bus driver but as someone with depression that is happy to see people it hits hard feeling alone. Sweet man . I’m brazilian and that bring tears to my eyes. I used to work in a chocolate store and things here are REALLY bad Jeep breast cancer heart colors t-shirt There was this lovely old man that came to our shop, to buy some chocolate for his wife, that was in the hospital, because of covid. She wasn’t well and he wanted to buy chocolates to her, because she loved and would make her smile, when she came back home. That day, I’ve asked my boss, of we could give something to him, as a present, so i put some roses with his chocolate and wrote a note saying : i hope you life can be always sweet. It was a small gesture, but it made him so happy. I hope his back to his wife

I am pulling for you New York! Luis is going to help make this happen.. Now I’m crying because a bus driver said Good Morning to someone this one time.. OMG, I LOVE YOU! I seriously hope I end up on your bus one day just so I can thank you for your shiny attitude.. He so perfectly describes how extroverts felt when COVID hit. You get your energy from other people and just being around them – seeing them happy, playing a part in giving them a laugh. And then they’re just not around and it’s so hard to re-learn how to get that feeling when you’re alone. We got through it, Luis!. Lorraine Benton. Girl! My DREAM was to be a Solid Gold dancer. Only I was so young that I called them “Salad gold dancers”. . OMG, this is the BEST story! The Solid Gold shoutout, the pic of this gorgeous woman in her gorgeous outfit, the fact that Darcel follows her on Twitter, the whole damned thing!. Solid Gold was my JAM as a little kid. My grandma would put it on for us when we were at her house. I remember I would put my hair in a high ponytail and swing it around like I saw them do on the show.. I have the absolute best memories of watching Solid Gold w/my brother growing up. Who DIDN’T want to be Darcel?! My brother and I would make up routines! And now I’m off to follow you, dear Gizmo, on IG. . People have no idea what I’m talking about when I say “I wanted to be a Solid Gold dancer when I grew up”. I love this story.
