Love this! My mom lives in nyc, too, and she’s just like you. ALL of my cashmere has come from the nyc trash. All kinds of other great stuff too.. Inspiring. You are fantastic and inspiring!!. The city should have a yard sale and allow their employees to bring items they salvaged to it for sale. The money raised can be split between the finders and the buyers. The city doesn’t need to make anything on it or tax it because they are saving mon “Anything in the garbage belongs to the city.” Absolutely pathetic that this is the way things have to be.
