We can’t control much in the world, but 100% we have a choice as to how we act and react. We can choose to see the positive or the negative. And what we choose is what we send to others, which they reflect back to us.. As an Australian who has been to NYC a couple of times, I don’t understand where the ‘rude new Yorker’ bad wrap has come from. I’ve found everyone to be helpful and happy when I’ve asked for help, no matter where I have been.. We’re so quick to complain and write negative reviews about our customer service experiences. I try to go out of my way to make sure that I praise when praise is due as well. A few months ago, the owner of a local McDonald’s actually called me to tell . Thank you. Hang in there. The world needs more people like you. And you have proof that a simple act of kindness can literally make the world of difference to someone..
